Sri Kshetra Mahur

Sri Kshetra Mahur is located in the Kinvat taluka of Nanded district in Maharashtra. Located here are the Temples of Mata Anasuya, Bhagvan Dattatreya and Mata Renuka Devi. It is believed to be the Birth Place of Lord Dattatreya. It is also known to be Nidra Sthan (Sleeping Place) of Lord Datta,

Mahurgad is around 430kms away from Ganagapur and the route is via Gulbarga, Humnabad, Bhalki, Degloor, Nanded and Mahagaon.

Sri Kshetra Girnar

Sri Kshetra Girnar (Girinagar or Revatak Pravata) is a collection of mountains in the Junagadh District of Gujarat, situated near Junagadh at a distance of 327 km from Ahmedabad. Located here are the Jain Temples and Temples of Ambaji and Guru Dattatreya. One should climb around 10,000 Steps to reach the Dattatreya Temple. Lord Dattatreya is believed to have performed Tapasya on the Datta Shikhar located here where we can see Shila Padukas of Datta Guru.

Distance between Girnar and Ganagapur is around 1300kms. One can travel to Rajkot / Ahmedabad and then reach Girnar by Bus Transport or other options.

Sri Kshetra Panchaleshvar

Sri Kshetra Panchaleshvar is located in the Bid District of Maharashtra near the famous Rakshasbhuvan Shani Mandir. It is famous as the Place of Lunch of Lord Dattatreya. Panchaleshwar is at a distance of 320 kms from Ganagapur.

Sri Kshetra Peethapuram

Sri Kshetra Peethapuram is located in the East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. This is the Birth Place of Shripada Shri Vallabha Swami Maharaj. It was Sri Vasudevanand Saraswati (Tembe Swami) Maharaj who brought this place in limelight by identifying the exact birth place. A Temple was established there and Padukas were installed. It is being maintained by Sripada Srivallbha Mahasansthanam. Pithapuram is located on Hyderabad-Vishakhapattanam railway line and is near to (about 10-12 km from) Samalkot junction.

Pithapuram is at a distance of around 800kms from Ganagapur Temple and the route is via Gulbarga, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry.

Sri Kshetra Gokarna

Sri Kshetra Gokarna is located in the Uttara Kannada district of the Karnataka. Lord Shivas Atma Lingam was established by Lord Ganesh at this Punya Kshetra as requested by Lord Vishnu. The story and Importance of Gokarna kshetra is explained in great detail in Adhyay 6 and 7 of Shri Guru Charitra. Shripada Shri Vallabha Swami Maharaj stayed here for a period of 3 years and performed tapasya.

Gokarna is at a distance of 450kms from Ganagapur and the route is via Jeratgi, Sindagi Basavan Bagewadi, Bagalkot, Nargund, Hubli, Kalaghatgi and Yellapur.

Sri Kshetra Kurwapur

Sri Kshetra Kurwapur is located in the Raichur Disitrict of Karnataka. Located at a distance of 25kms from Raichur, it was this place where Shripada Shri Vallabha Swami Concluded his Avatara. Shripada Swami stayed here for most of his life. The Holy Padukas of Swami Maharaj are located here. Kuravapur is very quiet and has calm atmosphere. There is also a Cave of Shri Tembe Swami where he used to meditate while he was in Kurwapur for his Chaturmasya Vrata. There are lot many fields in between the temple and the village. The village is at one end of the island and the temple is at the other end. There are two, frequently used, routes to reach Kuravapur. One is via Raichur in Karnataka state and another one is via Makthal in Andhra Pradesh state. Either way one has to cross the Krishna river in a small elliptical boat (Putti or Theppa) to reach this island. Distance between Kuruvapur and Ganagapur is around 220 kms and the route is via Jeratagi, Jevargi, Shahpur, Devadurga and Raichur.

Sri Kshetra Karanja (Lad Karanja)

Sri Kshetra Karanja (Lad Karanja) is located in the Washim District of Maharashtra. It is the Birth Place of Sri Narasimha Saraswati Swami Maharaj. When Sri Tembe Swami Maharaj was staying in Karanja he felt presence of Sri Narasimha Saraswati Maharaj in a wada. He pointed out the exact place of Birth and then with the efforts of Sri Brahmananda Saraswati of Kashi the Guru Mandir was built.

Lad Karanja is located at a distance of around 500kms from Ganagapur and the route is via Gulbarga, Humnabad, Bhalki, Degloor, Nanded, Hingoli and Washim.

Sri Kshera Audumbar

Sri Kshera Audumbar is located in the Kolhapur District of Maharashtra at a distance of 10kms from Bhillavadi Railway Station. The Temple of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari mentioned in 17th Adhyay of Sri Guru Charitra is located on the other bank of Krishna River. Sri Narasimha Saraswati had performed the Holy Chaturmasya Vrata here. Audumbar is around 50 kms from Narsobawadi. One can cover Audumbar, Bhillavadi, Narsobawadi, Shirol and Kolhapur in 2 days.

Sri Kshetra Narsobawadi

Sri Kshetra Narsobawadi is located in the Kolhapur District of Maharashtra at a distance of 23kms from Sangali and 15kms from Jaisingpur. The Datta Temple here is located near the Confluence of Krishna and Panchaganga rivers. Shri Guru Narasimha Saraswati stayed here for a Period of 12 years before coming to Ganagapur Kshetra. Manohar Padukas (Shila Padukas) are worshipped here since 600 years. Amareshwar Temple at Amarapur and Ghevda vel place are just located opposite side of the River. Also Shirol, Bhojan Patra Sthan of Shri Guru which has got a Black stone with Fingerprints of Shri Guru, is just 7kms away. Narsobawadi is at a distance of 240 kms from Ganagapur Temple and route is via Jeratagi, Sindagi, Vijayapura, Tikota and Athani.

Sri Kshetra Shrishailam is situated in the Nallamala Hills of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. Located here are the Famous Temples of Sri Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba. The Importance of Shrishailam is explained by Shri Guru himself in the 44th Adhyay of Shri Guru Charitra. It is also the Gupta Sthaan of Sri Guru Narasimha Saraswati as he concluded his Avatara in the Kardali Vanam located nearby in an island in Krishna River.
